This year, FSD Back to School will look different. We won’t be having a large group Open House evening event, but we’re excited about our family meetings that will take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 24-26, 2020, in place of an Open House for our Bobcats who are returning to campus for blended digital learning five days a week.
Individual families will schedule a meeting with their child’s homeroom teacher (K-5), assigned teacher (6-8) or CAP Advisor (9-12) to sit down and get critical back to school procedures and information, get registration paperwork directly and ask any questions needed. The meetings will last approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes of cleaning in between. Meals will be provided for pick up on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and we’ll publish a form to sign up for that, soon, as well. Buses will begin their normal routes on Thursday, August 27, and all students will return to campus full time that day.
Preschool staff will be calling their families to schedule their meetings and share their plan for the first three days.
Elementary (K-4) parents or guardians can begin calling the elementary office at 870-453-8860 any time Monday-Friday 8:00am-3:00pm to schedule their appointment with their child’s homeroom teacher.
For students in grades 5-12, your child’s assigned teacher or CAP Advisor will begin reaching out to you soon to schedule a time that works for your family one of those days.
In accordance with the Governor’s Directive, students and family members age 10 and up need to wear masks for this appointment.
We’re so excited for our students to be back on campus and are working hard to make sure everyone is able to stay safe and be back together to learn.
