Students in grades Kindergarten through 4th grade are experiencing an aligned curriculum for both Math and Literacy. This means that teachers are using the same program K-4 in Math and K-4 in Literacy. The programs are built for each grade level to better prepare students for the next step of their education.
The elementary school adopted Eureka Math as the official math curriculum for grades Kindergarten through 4th grade beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. We are seeing great gains and achievements in our students, more than we've seen in recent years.

The elementary school adopted the Journeys Literacy Program for grades Kindergarten through 4th grade beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. The students have access to read books and do class assignments while at school or at home via the Think Central portal. Sign-ins are distributed through the Literacy teachers.

Arkansas is in the process of implementing brand new Science standards for grades K-12, called Arkansas K-12 Science Standards. The Arkansas Department of Education's Science Curriculum page contains a lot of great information related to the new standards, how they were created and what they look like.
Science Teachers in grades 3-12 are using Discovery Education Techbook as their base curriculum for Science classes. Students can access their text, assignments and other resources at school or at home. The students have been given a login by their Science teachers and can login here.
