Golf Going to State

Every hole in golf is different, just like the players. Each player has the strengths and weakness, but they don’t let their weaknesses stop them. They may have a small team, but that doesn’t stop them from achieving great things. Seniors Kylie Coroch and Clayton Mcmanness are going state after competing in the district tournament. Kylie Coroch says, “I was shocked when I found out I was going to state. For one it is my first year in golf and that same day I found a new rule that cost me like 25 strokes”. But that new rule didn’t stop her from getting second place.  “I was shocked and excited that I get to play another golf match as a bobcat”, says Clayton Mcmanness. There is one sophomore, Zack Stewart,  on the team out of all the seniors. “It doesn’t feel weird since I am close to them, they are like my family.” Being the younger one on the team doesn’t stop Zack from being close to his teammates and being able to stay right with them on the course. Good luck to our Flippin Bobcats at State!
